Vintage Church by Mark Driscoll

While I don’t agree with everything he does, I appreciate and find great encouragement from Mark Driscoll. Not agreeing with everything he does shouldn’t mean a disowning of the man. Honestly, I don’t agree with everything John Piper does, or John MacArthur as well as lots of other evangelical leaders who write good books. We all have flaws and parts of our theology that are weak and thus it is really difficult to find someone that you agree with 100% of the time. One area I agree with Mark Driscoll on is the importance of the local church in the plans and purposes of God and his treatment of Ecclesiology in this book is outstanding. I am thankful for his work and this book will stretch your thinking and help you aim your life, worship and church attendance at the glory of God rather than your own convenience. Buy it. Read it.
