I apologize for getting this post out so late today.
Finally, David announces His confidence in God and calls for the Lord to deliver him. His only hope is in God, but that is such a strong confidence that David basically says, “Bring it on!” He calls upon the Lord to break the teeth of the wicked for salvation belongs to God and God alone. David knows he is a child of God who has been delivered in the past and God has not changed. He trusts that God will deliver him in the future.
Hope in the Psalms
Live. Remember who your God is, trust Him with your circumstance, pray that He would deliver you, trust in His plan for your life and live. When you are betrayed, you must not let it stop you. You must not think that betrayal is a sign that God is no longer going to help you, or that He cannot bring good out of this circumstance, for He has planned for all circumstances to work together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
